Caregiver Connections in South Carolina is a virtual support group for those caring for a loved one with an eating disorder. Margaret Yeakel and Karen McMullen, both in Columbia, host this monthly meeting and also know the journey of supporting a loved one in recovery. While it is based in South Carolina, it is available to anyone with access to Zoom.
The Julie Valentine Center is a nonprofit organization that provides free, confidential services to sexual assault and child abuse survivors and their families. They operate a 24/7 crisis hotline for victims of sexual assault or child abuse.
Adolescent Medicine, part of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital in the Upstate is a specialty practice focusing on the health of adolescents and young adults, ages 10–25. We provide comprehensive and effective care to teens and young adults.
The Greenville Police Department is proud to support our community and local charitable organizations through participation in various outreach activities and fundraising.
There are many ways in which we support the community, and many ways for the community to support us. If you want to make a donation for use by the Greenville Police Department, you may donate to the Greenville Police Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
ReCraft diverts quality, reusable materials from the landfill by collecting from generous Upstate manufacturers, retailers, institutions, and households. Our volunteers sort, store, and redistribute those materials to schools and festivals, makers and crafters, professional artists, and even tourists visiting from Charlotte. With a little imagination, the possibilities for our unique materials are endless!
