Our Story

Rooted in Community, Blooming with Pride

Columbus Wisconsin Pride began as a small gathering of friends and allies who dreamed of a more visible and celebrated LGBTQ+ community right here in our hometown. From those humble roots, it has blossomed into an essential annual event, a vibrant beacon of love, acceptance, and joy. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive space where every individual can express their authentic self without fear or judgment. We believe that visibility matters, and by bringing our community together, we strengthen the fabric of Columbus for everyone.

This festival is more than just a party; it's a powerful statement of solidarity and a celebration of the rich diversity that makes our city thrive. We are dedicated to fostering connection, providing resources, and creating unforgettable memories for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and our invaluable allies.
